Taking a break
from everything that used to matter does help to put things into perspective. The continuous act of doing, without the pauses in between to provide room for self-evaluation has been a mistake. As I look back now, the lack of something concrete for me to hold on to and to know, with certainty, the so-whats and the takeaways from all that I’ve done, is pretty disappointing indeed.
