Don’t be with someone just because you’re lonely. Don’t be with someone because they are there and convenient. Don’t be with someone because you’re bored, or you think it might be kind of cool. Don’t be with someone because you feel like you have to. Don’t be with someone so that people don’t think you’re socially inept. Don’t be with someone because other people say that he or she is “right” for you. Don’t be with someone who is just “good enough”. Don’t be with someone because it’s more comfortable than being single. Don’t be with someone just because they want to be with you and that makes you feel special.
Please, be with someone because you absolutely cannot bear to be apart from them. Be with someone because you are hopelessly head over heels for them. Be with someone who you know is right for you, who you know is fantastic, and who you know is worth it.
the 2 things that i hate to see
- old people collecting cans, newspapers and cardboard boxes on the streets
- my family crying

time to book air tickets! again!
i hope that’s a step in the right direction, or at least it’s something close to the right direction.
it feels like i’m back to 5 years ago. they’re all the same distractions and it’s confusing for now - but i know i’ll feel a whole lot stronger a couple of years later when i look back at all that i’ve gone through.
it may sound silly, but i like the feeling after i purchase air tickets online. it feels like i finally have something concrete to look forward to. a destination. the journey’s all the more enticing of course.
i’ll take things one step at a time now.
